White Wednesday Trinkets - Day 13

                                    

 Happy White Wednesday! Today's post is about a couple of trinkets that I found at thrift stores. There is nothing better than going to a thrift store and finding a find at a low price! :)

This little box is actually made out of an EGG!!! It is very fragile... and quite beautiful. It MUST be handmade. I LOVE it! ... I have a thing for little boxes or anything that can hold stuff inside. ;) hehe! 

 Now, this is just a situation where you MUST love cows! I LOVE THIS COW!!! It looks like a bean... HAHA! Isn't it cute??

Oh and by the way... my car died in the middle of an intersection tonight. :P It was only a 4 way stop intersection tho, but still. Luckily a nice guy stopped and helped me push it out of the road. I waited for my dad to get there and we pushed it about 10 blocks and across a busy street. Good thing it was late at night or it would have not been very fun at all. I have such a stupid car... HA!

Let's go back a few years... to May 13th 1989.

The Day Of My Parent's Wedding!

My mom  is so beautiful! Her wedding dress is so elegant.

 Here is my grandpa, her dad. Probably so incredibly proud to have such a lovely daughter and a HANDSOME new son-in-law. :)

Making their vows. It's so sweet, and I don't know if dad wants me to tell anyone but here it is all over the internet, he choked up saying his. I love watching the video because I think it's so sweet!

Walking out of the church! I love the look on dad's face. He's just like "Yeah, that's right, this is MY wife!" :D

So, there it was. The most memorable day of my mom and dad's life, besides the day that I was born. Ha! Cuz lord knows I am just a wonderful package of memories! ;)

A while ago, I had an enormous urge to try on my mom's wedding dress. Sooo... I DID!!!

I have been told that I look like her! I am SO happy that I do, cuz I think she is just gorgeous! :) What do you think?

A Knitted White Wednesday!

Whoo Hoo! This is my FIRST White Wednesday post! My mom does White Wednesday allll the time, so I was sure that I wanted to take part in the fun too! :)

For today's White Wednesday, I am gonna show some of my knit projects!

Here is a pillow that I made. It was super fun but it took an incredibly long time... 

mostly because I am just slow. :) 

But I am happy with how it turned out! It is super comfortable!

Ahh, I LOVE this cabled hat pattern! I made this hat for my Grandma last Christmas. This pattern was actually my VERY FIRST try at knitting. :) My teacher was surprised that I picked such a challenging project. 

This isn't a very good picture...

THERE'S a better one. K, this is my very FIRST knit project!

It had a couple of holes in it, but my teacher was able to fix it up so that it didn't unravel. :)
